SWFL Rotary Club Celebrates Reaching $20,000 Goal for “Festivals at the Bungalow” Children’s Book Project

 

We are thrilled to announce that the SWFL Rotary Club has successfully completed our $20,000 fundraising goal for the Festivals at the Bungalow children’s book project! This heartfelt initiative aims to celebrate cultures and promote children’s literacy through the magic of storytelling.

This milestone would not have been possible without the dedication, generosity, and passion of every individual and organization that came together to support this vision. From the very beginning, the SWFL Rotary Club has been honored to champion this project, reflecting our unwavering commitment to fostering a lifelong joy of reading and cultural awareness among children.

Mark Your Calendars — Book Launch on August 15th, NYC

We are excited to announce that the official book launch will be held on Friday, August 15th, at The Bungalow in New York City. This event will be a celebration of culture, community, and the power of literacy — a momentous occasion to bring together the many hands and hearts behind this project.

A Nationwide Vision for Cultural Literacy

Our goal extends far beyond the launch. The Festivals at the Bungalow project is the first step toward a broader vision to host cultural literacy programs across the country. Through interactive events, readings, and community partnerships, we aim to inspire children everywhere to embrace diversity and the joys of reading.
